(Note:  Most of the items on our calendar are of interest only to members of the board of directors.  Items of significance to other property owners are highlighted.)

 

Monthly

• Treasurer—Submit copy of Missouri NPDES monitoring report to Missouri Department of Natural Resources (MDNR)

• President—Check chlorine level of swimming pool

January

• Annual assessments due on January 1

• Treasurer—Send annual water bills to Surdyke Marina and the Addington family

 February

• Treasurer—By  February 28, submit Laboratory Services and Program Administration Fee to MDNR

 March

• Treasurer—By March 15, file income tax return, or file for extension

• President—Make arrangements for seasonal mowing and weed-eating of common areas

April

May

• Memorial Day weekend homeowners' pool party (normally on Friday evening) 

• President—Make arrangements for opening swimming pool

June

• Before July 1, file Consumer Confidence Report for water system with the MDNR.  (Normally handled by Total Environmental.)

July

• President—Property insurance policy renewal

August

• Treasurer—By August 31, file annual registration report with Missouri Secretary of State.

• Treasurer—By August 31, submit Missouri Drinking Water Primacy Fee to the MDNR.

September

• President—After pool closing, drain water heater; winterize sink, shower and commode; turn off outside water valve; open outside drain valve; stack pool furniture; shut off electricity.

 October

• Secretary—Send annual meeting notice no more than 30 days, but no less than 10 days, before annual meeting date.

 November

• Annual meeting--Historically, it's been on the first Saturday in November, but it can be a bit earlier or later.

• Treasurer—By November 7 (permit anniversary date), submit annual fee for wastewater operating permit to MDNR.

• President—Winterize irrigation system on common property.

December

• Treasurer—Send annual assessments to property owners.
